Some of our young people in S5 complete their work experience at Cafe Revive. Our Cafe is open to members of the public from 10:30am -11:30am every Thursday morning at First Magherafelt Presbyterian Church Hall.
Our young people learn the importance of preparing for work, ensuring their personal presentation is immaculate, they are responsible for taking care of their own uniform and they learn the importance of arriving at work on time. They carry out various tasks whilst at work such as, setting tables, using appriopriate greetings for customers, serving customers, clearing and cleaning tables and washing and drying the dishes.
Each week we ask customers for a small donation, some of our Cafe Revive staff are responsible for handling money and keeping track of the Cafe Revive accounts. At the end of each term our Cafe Revive staff decide on which charity they would like to give the donations to.
