S3 and S2 were very lucky to participate in the Grass Roots Challenge provided by the Ulster Wildlife Society. Christine came in and delivered an 8 week programme aimed at improving and sustaining our schools grounds. We made; bird boxes, bat boxes and hedgehog homes and we made sure that our mini-beast hotel was up to scratch for all our little visitors.ðŸžðŸ
We will also had some very special guests into visit us- Freddy the Hedgehog and Percy the owl. The pupils and staff had so much fun over the 8 weeks!
