Within the Independent Living area of the School Leavers' Programme our students develop their knowledge and skills in carrying out basic household tasks safely such as; ironing, using the washing machine and using basic kitchen equipment. Each week Students use their local supermarket to shop for daily requirements. They learn how to prepare basic snacks and drinks safely and hygienically, and learn the importance of managing money.
