Positive Relationships - Mid-Ulster Women's Aid

18th May 2018

We welcomed Jean Purvis into our assembly on Friday 18th May 2018.  Jean works for Mid-Ulster Women's Aid. One of Jean's many roles within the organisation is to travel around schools teaching young people about Positive Relationships.

Some of our senior school pupils took part in a 4 week course - watch the video to find out what they learned from the sessions.

Our young people in S5 were involved in making hygiene hampers. They asked the classes within the school to donate hygiene products and began to make up hampers. Thank you to staff and pupils who donated products. As a result we have donated;

  • 24 toilet rolls
  • 23 tea towels
  • 33 bottles of shampoo
  • 48 bottles of conditioner
  • 36 boxes of washing powder
  • 18 dishwasher tablets
  • 25 bin liner rolls

All products will be donated to Mid-Ulster Women's Aid.

This year at Cafe Revive we have received £500.00 in donations. This money has been donated to Mid-Ulster Women's Aid and will be put to good use to help women in our local community.
