We have had a great start to J3 and are excited about the new school year ahead. We are enjoying getting to know each other through our topic "Getting to know me" and have made some fabulous self portraits. One thing we have noticed is that we are all very different. This was emphasised through a little poem we have been learning:
No one looks the way I do
I have noticed it is true.
I am special
I am me,
There's no one else I'd rather be!
It was good fun making finger prints and looking at the patterns through a magnifying glass.
We have had lots of opportunities to develop our skills in literacy and numeracy as some of these photographs illustrate.
