We had a visit from a member of the community policing team who told us all about his job in the community. He brought lots of interesting items to show the pupils and explained the importance of each item. The pupils loved trying on the policeman’s hat and high visibility vest and also had the opportunity to explore some of the equipment used by police officers. The pupils got to hold the policeman’s special light and try out the handcuffs. They particularly enjoyed having the opportunity to sit inside the police car and see the blue flashing lights. Many thanks to our local community policing officer for coming along and talking to J2 all about his job in the community.
