We linked our Art and Design lessons to our topic ‘Super Senses’. We looked at the artist ‘Pablo Picasso’ and his self portrait piece. We observed Pablo’s self portrait style and how it changed over time as he experimented with different techniques. To begin with the pupils created their own ‘Line Art’ portrait which was then enhanced using a black marker. Later, we explored the concept of Cubism. With cardboard and paint pupils cut out facial features created their own abstract piece. Well done S2!
