J5 had some super learning experiences during Autumn. We visited a local orchard where we saw the apple trees and Una who owned the orchard allowed us to pick some apples and bring them back to school! We enjoyed being scientists for the day after our orchard visit when we examined the apples using magnifying glasses and apple corers to learn more about them. We tasted the apples and they were yummy! We also planted some Hyacinth bulbs which we cared for and watered each week - we hope all our mummies liked these as Christmas presents.
