The school council liaised with Catherine from Aware NI to visit our school and deliver a workshop to S9 and S11 students with the focus, “looking after our mental health”

Students worked collectively to consider different emotions and how we can manage our emotions in different situations. We also considered how these emotions look physically on our body and used a breathing technique suggested by Catherine to help regulate our nervous system when we are in a stressful situation, the “Finger Breathing Technique”
