Cookery Sessions in S5

Some of the classes you visited McKeever's Orchid brought some apples back to school and S5 thought they would make good use of them. 

1. Firstly the apples were washed and peeled.
2. We stewed the apples in a saucepan and measured out 2oz of granulated sugar to add to the apples.
3. We added 2oz of oats to a packet of crushed digestives to make our crumble.
4. Once the apples were stewed we poured the apples into a pie dish.
5. Next we added our crumble mixture.
6. The crumble took 15 mins to bake at 200oC. 
7. We served our crumble with custard 😋
