J1 enjoyed learning about the role of a farmer and the types of crops and animals that live on the farm. The pupils enjoyed listening to the story of ‘Little Red Hen’ and experienced making bread in class. They also had the opportunity to develop their understanding and knowledge about farms, farm animals and their young and farm machinery through play based learning and environmental outings.
