Educational Outing to the Seamus Heaney Centre
3rd Mar 2020
As part of our 'Growing for the future' topic, J9 made a visit to the Seamus Heaney Centre in Bellaghy. They enjoyed the wonderful, interactive exhibition, in particular, searching for the items in their treasure hunt. This allowed them the opportunity to; complete puzzles, make bookmarks, smell turf, try on different outfits and relax in the sensory area. Following on from this J9 dug for potatoes and other vegetables in the centres allotments. This was a particularly enjoyable experience for everyone involved, lots of excitement to be had whenever a potato was found!!
