Through all curricular areas, J8 have been learning about fruit and vegetables. During Numeracy, pupils weighed a variety of fruit and vegetables to find out which was light and which was heavy. Literacy skills were developed when pupils matched and identified the different types of fruit and vegetables. During art creativity was developed by sponge painting apple trees. Scientific investigations helped pupils predict which fruit was sweet and which was bitter. The photos show how engaged all pupils have been, with one highlight being getting to taste the lovely food!
