J2 enjoyed using the number song; ‘Five Currant Buns in a Baker’s Shop’ to develop their understanding of mathematical language and concepts. The pupils took turns to take on the role of the baker and customer and to remove one bun each time during the song. As an extension to our counting song we made some currant buns in class.
