On Thursday 9th November, S1 pupils experienced their first school visit to Funderland, Belfast. Seven excited boys travelled by bus with all of senior school. Despite the cold and damp day, all were smiling eagerly to get on the variety of rides. Some were braver than others. Many wanted to get on all of the rides, the faster the better! Others overcame personal fears and went on more rides than expected. Treats and snacks on the bus home brought a happy ending to a fun filled day. The trip provided an opportunity for pupils to develop their personal and social skills, allowing them to demonstrate appropriate behaviour and excellent listening skills.
