This week we spent time consolidating out numbers and letters playing Easter egg number splat, counting eggs and working on our Numicon. We matched, identified and sequenced letters a-z using beautiful butterfly letters. We took the parachute outside and had so much fun moving it up and down, moving it fast and slow and we pretended the ball was an Easter egg and tried to bounce it out of the parachute to see if it would crack! We all love The Bear Hunt story in J6 so imagine our excitement when we went on an Easter egg hunt instead. Finding eggs is much less stressful than finding a bear. We found all the different eggs on our tick sheet and we even found the golden egg.
