S3 and S2 were very lucky to be offered the opportunity to take part in the Grass Roots Challenge provided by the Ulster Wildlife Society. Christine came in and delivered an 8 week workshop aimed at promoting and sustaining wildlife in our school grounds.🌲We built homes for; birds, bats and hedgehogs.ðŸ§ðŸ¦. We also ensured that our bug hotel was inviting for our little bug friends. ðŸžðŸ
We even had a class visit from Percy the owl and Freddy the hedgehog, this was a lot of fun for both the pupils and staff. 🙊
