J4 have been having lots of fun and are excited for the halloween celebrations in school. Pupils have been working hard on their numeracy skills with a halloween theme. They have been identifying Numicon shapes and counting and adding sets with halloween objects. We also included this in literacy lessons by identifying letters and building and matching new words and sentences. Pupils followed visual steps to create a magic potion to count and measure wha needed to be added. We made some yummy chocolate apples along with halloween lanterns, pumpkins and cards to bring home.
