Hello October....ðŸ‚🦔
Our focus last month was exploring the seasonal change from Summer to Autumn. For this topic our activities were based around the books ‘Owl Babies’ by Martin Wadell, ‘Oliver’s Wood’ by Sue Hendra and ‘Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson. At the beginning of October the pupils were able explore the different signs of Autumn such as autumn leaves, conkers, and nocturnal animals.
The book Room on the Broom brought some Halloween fun to our classroom. Highlights for the children were the exploding pumpkin and making potions during a social skills activity.
As you can see, all pupils in J2 had lots of fun exploring the season of Autumn.
