S9 participate in a range of activities that further develop their independent living skills. Each pupil takes on a job role each week to help keep their classroom clean and tidy. Pupils travel to their local Tesco each week which helps develop money management skills and the importance of preparing shopping lists before their visit.
During cookery sessions pupils learn the importance of kitchen hygiene, safety in the kitchen as well as the correct procedures for cooking and storing food.
