J1 have had a wonderful start to their school year. They have been busy exploring their Play Based Learning environments while adjusting to new routines, new faces and a longer school day.
J1 have been developing their Fine Motor skills through Table Top and Creative activities and building upon their Gross Motor skills through Soft Play, PE and Outdoor Play. During group activities such as Circle Time, Attention Autism and Music, they have had lots of opportunities to take turns and share space with their peers.
During the month of September, J1 have been focusing on a series of mini topics to help complete September Assessment activities and showcase their individual learning styles and preferences. So far they have enjoyed exploring Apples, Goldilocks and the Three Bears and The Tiger Who Came to Tea.
