We had a lovely morning at Killymoon Castle. Dorothy, the lovely lady who owns the castle gave us a tour of the beautiful ballroom and the bedrooms. She showed us some very old items from years gone by such as spinning wheels, washing boards, irons, and bed pans. We were treated to a lovely snack before going down a secret stairway to the dungeons! She gave us torches to explore the jail room and showed us lots of war memorabilia as soldiers used the castle as their base many years ago. We had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
