September was a very busy month getting used to our new school routine, reestablishing friendships and making news ones and completing September Assessments. J8 also commenced work on our new topic Rocks and Minerals. We have been learning all about volcanoes, how fossils are formed, permeable and impermeable rocks, and learning about the Stone Age. We are really enjoying this topic so far and have had lots of exciting learning opportunities!
