We were exploring how the Egyptians made paper. The pupils made their own papyrus paper from a papyrus paper kit. First they soaked the strips of papyrus in water and then they layered the strips horizontally and then vertically not leaving any gaps. We had to let it dry overnight. We were very impressed with the way our papyrus paper turned out.
