Our class topic is 'The Chocolate Lab' and we got to visit JC Stewart's bakery department to watch how buns get decorated by adding icing, chocolate smarties and sprinkles. Once the buns were decorated the bakers then packaged them into large boxes.
We then got to decorate and pack our own buns to take back to school. It was a great outing and we developed our learning by exploring how buns are decorated and processed in large amounts in the factory.
