In preparation for World Book Day, S8 visited libraries in their local area. They visited Magherafelt, Cookstown and Maghera Library. On their first visit, pupils applied for their own library card to enable them to borrow books. They learned how to use the self-check out to borrow, renew and return books. Pupils developed their confidence each week to approach library staff to ask them a question of where to find a particular genre of book. S8 enjoyed using the computers in the library to write a book review of their favourite book.
