Students are learning about newspapers and what we have found so far is startling. Students conducted a tally chart to identify who still buys newspapers and it was reported that only the “older generation” buy them and in fact the younger generation didn’t know what a newspaper was! Students learned about the role of the Editor and identified the various sections within a newspaper. It has been very insightful.
