J1 is loving their new topic ‘Nursery Rhymes’. Each week they will explore a different well known Nursery Rhyme through their Play Based Learning.
Nursery Rhymes are a wonderful tool to develop a variety of important skills, including listening, memory and early mathematical concepts. They also provide lots of repetition which is a great opportunity to develop sounds and rhythm.
So far J1 have explored the Nursery Rhymes ‘I’m a Little Tea Cup’ and ‘Pat a Cake.’
