This week students have been settling into their new class and getting to know their peers and staff. We have discussed what motivates us and the goals/aspirations we have. Throughout the week we have been working on our Home Management skills focusing on the ability to prepare simple snacks and being able to make our own bed. Some students also had the opportunity to operate the washing machine, hang out clothing to dry and iron some clothing.
Students have also been working on sorting food into the correct storage categories, e.g. the fridge or cupboard. But one question remains, where do you store your eggs?
