Our Visit to Specsavers
11th Oct 2019
As part of our "Super Senses" topic, we visited Specsavers in Magherafelt, so we could learn more about how our sense of sight works. We were greeted by Aidan and allowed to try on all the different frames, including some very cool sunglasses! Then Aidan took us to the pre examination room, where Kirsty volunteered to get her eyes tested. The pupils all got a chance to see how the machines worked, and the optician Brian looked at some peoples eyes using a special torch.
It was so much fun and the staff were so helpful. They also gave us some sweets and stickers to take home, and gave us glasses to use in our role play area. It was a great visit out!
