Some pupils from S7 have been travelling to Meadowbank Sports Arena to participate in tag rugby. Pupils have been developing fundamental skills such as hand and eye co-ordination, team work, listening to and following instructions and how to deal with disappointment at times when they may not get the result they had hoped for.
Pupils have been learning how to run with the rugby ball, pass the ball to their team mates, defend, kick and how to score a try.
Our sessions not only help pupils develop important skills but also enable pupils to participate in 30 minutes of exercise, helping to keep our bodies fit and healthy.
