As part of the Ulster Wildlife Grassroots challenge, S2 pupils were involved in making bird and bat boxes to put around the school grounds. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed these practical sessions, working with wood and putting these boxes together.
The pupils also participated in filling pots with compost and planting bulbs which, we hope, will provide lots of colour around the school during Spring, and supply nectar and pollen to insects, freshly emerged from hibernation.
