Science Week 2021
Last week, 8th- 12th of March, our classes in Kilronan celebrated Science Week!
The Theme for this year was ‘Innovating for the Future’. The aim was to help pupils understand that Science is all about innovation and working to create a better future for all. The opportunity to use our creativity to solve problems is a skill we wanted all our children to develop.
Many of the pupils participated in Science experiments that developed their observation and investigative skills. The Junior pupils joined in activities that created opportunities to cultivate their curiosity and demonstrate their creative imagination and problem solving skills. The Middle School pupils and Senior pupils developed many skills including their collaboration, patience and organisational skills as they gathered resources, worked together and patiently waited to see the results of their experiments.
So many skills were developed during our Science Week and as you will see from the short selection of photo’s below, the pupils all had brilliant fun in their activities!!
