Pupils joined together with children from other schools to take part in a science workshop. They worked in teams to learn about things which fly. To begin with they used different building materials to build their flying vehicles and then progressed to making their own rockets. Each pupil had the chance to watch their rocket fly high in the hall. After lunch the pupils carefully folded paper aeroplanes with some help, which they also got to watch fly.
