J6 enjoyed their science session last week- experimenting with baking soda and vinegar to create an exploding bag.
Our resources:
- sandwich zip lock bag
- water
- vinegar
- Tissue
- baking soda
The experiement
- We put baking soda onto a tissue and folded it up
- We added water and vinegar to a zip lock bag
- We dropped the tissue with baking soda into the bag and very quickly zipped the bag up
- Then the best part- we had to shake the bag until it popped!
