In our class, we follow the Northern Ireland Curriculum. We cover all six Areas of Primary Level Learning (Language and Literacy; Mathematics and Numeracy; The Arts; The World Around Us; Personal Development and Mutual Understanding and PE) in order to meet the needs of our individual children. Our emphasis is always on the development of skills and capabilities for life long learning and for preparing the children to operate effectively in society. We intersperse our lessons with opportunities to develop
- Cross Curricular Skills (Communication; using Mathematics and using ICT)
- Thinking Skills and Personal Capabilities (Thinking, Problem Solving and Decision Making; Self Management; Working with Others; Managing Information and Being Creative)
