As part of English with Media the pupils in S2 focused on the TV series the Great British Bake Off. Over a 6 week period the pupils practised expressing preferences for different sweets treats, explored the baking process and planned a tea party as a class. We invited some friends to our tea party and it was a huge success!! The pupils were brilliant and developed many new and existing skills through this experience. They had the opportunity to develop their communication skills by taking orders, serving the tea and juice, setting the table as well as baking delicious treats.
