Our topic this term is ‘The Life Of The Inuit People’. We enjoyed dressing up in furry coats and hats to explore the clothes that Inuit people wear. We participated in a drama activity where we went on a plane journey to the Arctic. We loved looking at the video clip of the plane taking off on the large interactive white board screen. When we ‘arrived’, we explored playing in the snow outside (made by our snow machine).We observed large igloos and explored different ice stations set up in the classroom.
During arts and crafts we made Inuit shaped people for our classroom display board using different materials and fabrics of our choice.
