We are enjoying exploring our new topic 'The Vikings'. So far we have looked at Viking clothes and we made our own Viking helmets, shields and swords.
We have also explored how the Vikings travelled to different countries by building their own 'Longboats'. In class we made longboats and by using different measuring devices ie. metre sticks and measuring wheels we measured 30 metres outside to see the actual size of a long boat. It was very long.
