S8 have been working incredibly hard on their new topic, Traditions Around the World.
We started off with the celebration of the Chinese New Year. The pupils learnt that 2025 is the year of the snake, some geographical information about China, as well as having a go at writing their names in Chinese! Their hard work was proudly displayed for the whole school to see.
S8 have also been learning about the patron saints of the United Kingdom. So far we have learnt about St David and St Patrick and looked at what these celebratory days are all about. We are looking forward to learning about St George and St Andrew.
