Nursery pupils really enjoyed our Transport topic during the month of February. During the month, we found out about different modes of transport in particular cars, boats and trains. Through play based learning the pupils had opportunities to sort modes of transport into sets that were the same and to further develop their early number by counting the cars, boats and trains. The ‘Car Wash’ at the water tray was lots of fun! We dipped big sponges in water and soap and then squeezed them over the cars. At the Art Table, we designed our own cars, boats, trains and aeroplanes to create a wonderful Transport display board in our classroom.
