J3 love to bake and decided to use our culinary skills to make some lovely buns for special Mother's Day treats. We cracked the eggs, sieved the flour and added some butter, vanilla essence and sugar. We took turns to operate the electric mixer and loved observing how it combined all the ingredients together. We spooned the mixture into bun cases and took the bun trays to the oven in the kitchen to be baked.
The next day we made some creamy icing and used a piping bag to decorate our buns. It was a bit like squeezing a big tube of toothpaste! We put our buns into little boxes and took home to surprise our mummies. They loved them!!
