J7 were learning all about what happens outside in Spring. We found out that flowers need water, sunlight and heat to grow. J7 planted their own seeds and looked after their individual plants on a daily basis. We learned about various birds and really liked bird watching outside. We also looked at several different types of flowers in our "Garden Shop". We looked at several different types of mini-beasts and we enjoyed searching for them in our mini-beast hunt outside in our sensory garden. We saw frogs in the pond in Springhill. We also went on an educational outing to Maghera Garden Centre. This was a very enjoyable topic.
