We have settled really well into our new school year and are enjoying our current topic, 'Woodland Wonders'. The highlights so far have been our educational visits to Ballyronan Wood and to a local apple orchard. We loved reading the information signs in Ballyronan Wood, picking blackberries and 'hugging' trees to see if we could fit our arms around the trunks. It was great fun collecting apples in the orchard. We brought some back to school to use in our play experiences and further enrich our learning
