S9B have been delving into the world of online notice boards using the website Padlet.
Padlet allows students to post to a virtual notice board and watch their posts appear in realtime.
Firstly, pupils used their iPad cameras to scan a QR code which took them to their padlet page in which they were then tasked to upload a picture of their favourite place.
Pupils then took it in turn to come up and explain where their favourite places were. Other pupils asked their classmates questions relating to each place - it was a great conversation starter and a wonderful opportunity to extend communication skills.
