The pupils in J7 have been chosen to take part in the Roots of Empathy Programme, lead by Mrs Tracy Shaw.
‘‘The Roots of Empathy programme is delivered to pupils of primary age who are coached to recognise and connect with the vulnerability and humanity of a baby who visits their classroom throughout the school year with their parent(s), along with a trained Roots of Empathy Instructor using a specialised curriculum.’’
The pupils in J7 were very excited to meet our Tiny Teacher ‘Baby Darcie’ and we look forward to the year ahead, watching her grow and develop.
